Mechanical systems for new homes

A good system starts on paper.

We size the equipment to the house plans, lay out supply and return ducts or hydronic loops, and decide where the furnace, boiler or air handler lives so it can actually be serviced later.

Then we rough it in while the walls are open and come back to set equipment and start it up once the house is closed in.

How we do it

Working with your builder, or with you.

We coordinate with the builder and the other trades so ducts, piping and vents land where they belong before drywall goes up.

Building your own place? Plenty of homes up here are owner-built.

We can walk the plans with you first and quote the mechanical work so it fits your budget and your schedule.

Good to know

The earlier we see the plans, the better

  1. Equipment room sized for service access

  2. Duct chases planned before framing

  3. Vent and intake routes clear of snow

  4. Radiant timed with the concrete crew

How a call goes

Four steps, no runaround.

  1. Call any hour

Call (989) 305-5490 and tell us what the system is doing. We’re open 24 hours, seven days a week.

  2. We find the fault

We track down what actually failed and show you, so the fix is aimed at the real problem.

  3. You decide

Repair or replace, laid out plainly before any work starts. No pressure either way.

  4. Fixed and cleaned up

We test it, run it through a full cycle and leave the space the way we found it.

Questions

Building new? Start here.

Still not sure? Call (989) 305-5490 and ask. We’re open 24 hours.

When should I call you on a new build?

As early as you have plans. Equipment location, duct chases and vent routes are easiest to solve before framing.

Can you put radiant floor heat in a new home?

Yes. In-floor radiant is laid before the slab is poured, so we coordinate timing with your concrete crew.

Do you work with owner-builders?

Yes. We work to your schedule and walk you through each stage of the mechanical work.
