Furnaces
Furnace repair & installation in Rose City, MI
When it’s ten below outside, the furnace stops being an appliance and becomes the most important thing in the house. We repair gas and propane furnaces and replace the ones that are finished.
Furnace repair & installation
Finding the part that actually failed.
No-heat calls usually come down to a handful of parts: an igniter or flame sensor, a pressure switch, an inducer motor, a control board or a blocked vent pipe. High-efficiency furnaces also quit on frozen or clogged condensate lines, which happens a lot up here when the drain runs through a cold space.
We track down the real fault, fix it, and look over the heat exchanger and venting while we’re there, so you aren’t calling again next week.

How we do it
A replacement planned before the old one comes out.
Replacement starts with sizing. We size the furnace to the house, check the return air and supply ducts, and plan the venting and condensate drain before anything is disconnected.
Our own job photos include new Carrier furnaces going into everything from a tight utility closet to a brand new basement with the walls still open. Our Google reviews keep coming back to furnace replacements, and we take that seriously.

Had them put in a new Helix Dunkirk boiler and couldn't ask for better service. Would have them install and new one if I ever need a new one. Hope not but never can tell. Great job Brent and Brad.

Questions
Furnace questions we hear a lot.
Still not sure? Call (989) 305-5490 and ask. We’re open 24 hours.
My furnace is blowing cold air. What should I check first?
Make sure the thermostat is set to heat and the fan is on auto, then check the filter and the furnace switch or breaker. On a high-efficiency furnace, go outside and make sure snow hasn’t drifted over the plastic vent pipes. If it still won’t light, call us.
Should I repair or replace an older furnace?
Age alone doesn’t decide it. A cracked heat exchanger, repeat breakdowns or a repair that costs a big share of a new unit point toward replacement. We show you what we found before you decide.
Do you work on propane furnaces?
Yes. A lot of homes outside town run on propane, and we service and install furnaces set up for it.
Where we work
