Who we’re

A mechanical contractor in the middle of Rose City.

Apex Refrigeration & Mechanical is a mechanical contractor and an HVAC contractor in one shop. The work covers furnaces and central air, boilers and in-floor radiant, heat pumps and ductless mini splits, zoned forced air, complete mechanical systems for new homes, and refrigeration and mechanical work for businesses.

We’re based on W Main St in Rose City and work across Ogemaw County and into Oscoda and Iosco counties: Lupton, West Branch, Mio, Hale and the lake roads in between. We keep the phone on 24 hours a day, every day, because a furnace never picks a convenient time to quit.

Our job file speaks for the range: hydronic boiler rooms piped in copper, a pole building floor laid with radiant tubing, new Carrier furnaces in fresh basements, ductless outdoor units set up on stands above the snow line, a walk-in cooler with its condensing unit on the roof and a full commercial kitchen line.

How we work

Five habits on every job.

  1. Find the real fault first

A part gets replaced because it failed, not because it was the easiest guess.

  2. Lay out the options

Repair or replace, explained plainly before any work starts.

  3. Size it to the house

New equipment is sized to your home and ducts, not copied off the old label.

  4. Install for snow country

Raised outdoor units, protected vents and drains that won’t freeze shut.

  5. Leave it clean

The mechanical room should look better when we leave than when we arrived.
