About the area

County seat, Victorian downtown, a lot of different houses.

The downtown runs through a Victorian district on the Business Loop, with older two-story homes on the streets around it. Farther out you get newer houses, homes along M-30 and M-55, and businesses near the I-75 exits.

Irons Park fills with sleds in winter and music in summer, and the county comes together for Winterfest in February and the Ogemaw County Fair in August.

West Branch and Rose City share a school district, West Branch-Rose City Area Schools, so plenty of families already split their week between the two towns. The drive from our shop is roughly 20 minutes, give or take the weather.
